As head of the Social Media Marketing Subcommittee for the MacEwan Design Portfolio Show, I planned and coordinated a social media schedule, chose which platforms to focus on, created content, and engaged with other members of the Portfolio Show, MacEwan University, the Mitchell Art Gallery, and social media audiences.
I worked closely with a fellow subcommittee member to create content, including adding graphics to student portraits and deciding which prompts to ask students to create engaging captions. The goal was to make fun content and to uplift students by displaying their designs to audiences. Our content promoted the MacEwan Design Program and the Portfolio Show successfully.
